Prof. Henry Hongyi Chen, Tsinghua University Institute of Microelectronics, Chairman of the Academic Committee, and formerly the director of the Institute, Prof. Chen is a life-time pioneer in the Chinese microelectronic engineering and semiconductor industry. He received the State Award for his achievements leading to the Institute’s success in the China Citizen ID Card IC development program. He advocated and helped to establish China’s embedded DSP, Asynchronous Processor, and WSN productizations, which FTC have been heavily involved in. Prof. Chen received his BS and MS from Tsinghua University in 1965.
Albs Liu is a specialist in Hong Kong public trading who participated in bringing 4 China domestic enterprises to IPO through special-purpose acquisition companies since 2007. He has many years of experience in government Procurement while stationed in Hong Kong, and was VP of Business Development in leading China’s consumer electronic product company Huaqi (Algo brand). Jointly with FTC, Albs is the key business developer of the MSH China opportunity. He is also pushing for further international collaboration in the WSN-enabled Smart Home applications and electronic integration and in retrofitting China’s major manufacturing industries.
Rixing Chen, a business operator with many years of experience in the China domestic IT industry, he co-founded General Circuits with Jin Luo in 2004 and led it to a successful merger and acquisition with Vivace Semiconductor (Boston, MA). He has broad industrial relationships and recently provided critical advice in the business development of FTC’s Kunshan initiative for Protein Design Lab (the biopharmaceutical company).
